Foef is a diversity driven creative platform created by skateboarders based in Amsterdam.

Foef has gotten support, primarily, from Nike SB and Skatepark Noord, but also from Dickies, Polaroid, and Ben-G. This support allowed us to host a workshop in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam during Vincent op Vrijdag in September 2019.

In 2019, Foef also collaborated with De Trut and Skatepark Noord, bringing together one of the first LGTBQI+ events that had taken place at the skatepark.

Together with graphic design and architecture agency Floda31, Foef also dropped an architecture workshop focused on skateboarding environments.

In 2020, Foef had the opportunity to have their photography and video work exhibited at Art Room MINA and at Open Art Zuidoost.

At the moment, Foef is working on a collaboration with an Amsterdam based skateboarding brand as well as planning their next move.

Although Foef started as a diversity driven platform mainly focused on skateboarding, it now manifests itself through way more. Such as photography, events, journalism, music, art, clothing, literature, and activism.

FOEF values inclusivity and equality, especially in the skateboarding world. We decided to join forces to connect, inspire, and empower people regardless of origin, gender, sexuality, cultural background, and skills. We started doing this by hosting events in our local skatepark, where inclusivity is the starting point. But we also host exhibitions in art galleries, have an online community, and always try to reach out to people in the skatepark that seem to need a little bit of help. FOEF is not exclusively for skateboarders and art-lovers, but for everybody who is interested.
